At the end of January (2011) NCMAR offered the Broker's Pre-License Exam Training so I signed up. Enjoyed 4 days of intensive training with my fellow Realtors.
Scheduled my exam for the 19th but ended up having a flurry of showings and submitting 2 offers prior to leaving for my yearly "vacation" to the Westminster Dog Show. Put one of the 2 UAG while at the show and submitted Highest & Best on the other.
I needed to bump the exam out a week, so I could catch my breath, so last Friday I woke up to a snow/ice/sleet storm and went and took the exam.
I passed and am now officially a MA License Broker or Broker Salesperson, since I'm working for another Broker.
I'm really glad I did it!
Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself.
When I read this quote - it resonated with me.
I am not, nor will I ever ever be a "high pressure" Agent.
The number on your pre-approval letter is just that - a number - it doesn't dictate the level of service I provide to you.
What is important to me, is helping you find and purchase, a home that works for you whether you want to be there "tomorrow" or "whenever" - you set the pace.
I will be your REALTOR© for life - I love this job and can't imagine doing anything else!
