    Welcome to rainy Lynbrook.

On my way to the gym as I was driving down Peninsula Blvd. I have noticed a huge paddle of water on the corner of Denton

    Ave and Peninsula Blvd.

I stoped at the light watching some people who tried to cross the street.

They could not. The water was about 12" deep.

This is a big safety problem. Not only that they can't Cross but, the cars that drive by splash the water on them.

I have written many letters to our representative but nothing happened.

The condition of the road is bad, It is in need of repair.

Why wait until some major accident?

I hope that some one will do something about this.

The Village Of Lynbrook  (Members Only)

It was a beautiful sunny day in Lynbrook.

I took my dog on off we went.

We walked down Peninsula Blvd. to Hempstead Ave. there at the 5 corners we went to see the dogs at the Shake-A-Paw.

My dog loves to go there and five minuets later he senses that the place is not for him.

We crossed Sunrise Highway and went to the post office.

From the post office we went to the library which is located in a beautiful building.

I picked up two books and walked towards the LIRR.

My dog wanted to walk up stairs and go down from the other side.

    The station was very clean.

There is a taxi station down by the train station and it serves all the near by towns.

One block from there the town hall is located and the police station.

We started walking back passing the movie theater.

It is very convenience to run errans with out the need of a car.

You walk and meet nice and warm people that smile and pet my dog.

    I like living in Lynbrook.

  • For Sale By Owner

One morning I was driving in Hewlett staring at the houses.

While driving very slowly I have noticed a "For Sale By Owner" sign.

I stopped my car and call the number that appeared on the sign.

I got the information about the house and felt that the owner was very motivated about selling his house.

I told him that I was from Pugatch Realty in Woodmere, and the tone on his voice changed. "I do not want to deal with any

    agent" was the

response. My answer to him was that I had a buyer who is looking to buy a house in the area, and if he would  let me show his

house to my potential buyer? He said yes.  I told him that if I show the house and the buyer makes an offer who would pay

    my commission?

My suggestion to him was to let me get the listing and I will do my best selling his house and all the regular sales pitch.

The answer was no. I politely say thank you and went back to my office.

Two weeks had past and I went to Gold's gym in Lynbrook for my regular workout.

While there I saw the gentleman and started chatting with him. He did not sell his house yet. I wished him the best we shook

    hand and

    became friends.

Ok I did not get the listing but, I gain a friend that knows that I am in the real estate business, and that I work in the south

    shore of Long island.

  • Sunny day in Lynbrook

Wow, what a beautiful Sunny day.

My dog Bud is going kookoo on on me, he want me to take him out.

We started our walk and it was not cold at all, after such bitter cold weather that we had experienced it was a delight to be

    out door.

You see people seating on the benches and absorbing the warmth of the sun.

I love to chat with people and while doing so, I always ask "do you want to sell your house"?

I have an assistant his name is Bud, my dog.

Bud is a Maltese small and very handsome. his nick name is Mr. mayor.

Bud is well known in Lynbrook. When he takes ME for a walk, people stop and say hello to him.(what am I chopped liver?)

We work very well together, he flirt with the Ladies while I hand them my business card.

Bud does not get paid for his services. He is not a member of any union.

I have to be kind to him, make sure that he has food, water, toys etc. That is the law.

When I sell a house because of Bud, he gets a special treat. I take him to the dog spa where he is treated like a king.

I want to buy him a special ribbon with the logo of my business on it but, I am told that it is not a good idea...

    Bud is my friend.

In the summer I take him to see the polo game. After the game I let him run on the polo field and he loves it.

There is a park in East Rockaway that he loves to play there.

Bud has many friends and I am luky to have him as a friend.

I arrived at her house at 9 A.M. sharp.

She lived at the end of a private road, facing the beautiful lake.

I entered the house that was brand new, staring at the hard wood floor, I continued toward the kitchen that had a stone floor imported from Italy.

the counter top was made of Jerusalem marble imported from Israel.

The windows were about eight feet wide with Chagall like glass.

Around the Windows there was a six inch molding made of mahogany.

I followed her into the master bed room where she wanted me to install a canopy from the ceiling towards the wall. and upholster the walls with fabric.

"What about window shades?" I asked and her reply was that she does not need any shades because there are no houses around.

She invited me to have coffee with her and I told her that I am involved in the real estate business and that I will appreciated any referrals. It just happen to be that her son was looking for a house in the neighborhood and I am planing to see him soon.

Well, It looks like my work is cut out for me and I am looking for further job from this lovely lady.

I am wishing you all a successful journey in your career.

    WORK AND NETWORK  (Members Only)

Good news, I am going to see an old client of mine who is an interior designer for many years.

She had finished remodeling her house, and asked me to do all the window treatments for her.

This lady has many years of experience as a designer and she is well known and respected in the community.

I am going to propose to her that we should work together.

She will find me the sellers and I will work with her in dedecorating those houses that we sell.

If you have any feedback and helpful ideas I will be happy to explore them.

Thank you very much for you help
