Beautiful New Store Opens On Columbus Avenue

La Terrine has opened a colorful and beautifully stocked new location on Columbus Avenue and 73rd Street featuring their distinctive ceramic tableware  and linens.

Featuring items imported mainly from Italy.
This is another deluxe store for the ultra- rich like the nearby Jonathan Adler store that opened last year on Columbus Avenue between 74th & 73rd (that I announced in a previous blog) The incredibly vibrant mugs from Italy are priced at around $45- $38 each but there were some mugs from the Phillipines for only $18 each.
Of course these do make ideal gifts for your boss's Anniversary as they are sure to impress..

Update 8/2011: Sad to say there are no longer any mugs below $38! Their mugs are definitely beautiful mostly from Italy with La Terrine's own imprint. (I wonder if they are any sturdier then the mugs from Italy that I bought last Christmas as those are already chipped?)

Update 12/1/2011: Just in time for the Holidays! La terrine got back in the mugs from Portugal! To reward myself for all my hard work on a board approval & upcoming closing, I splurged last month and bought myself a very pretty mug-white with yellow flowers and green vines for $27.00 (The most I've ever spent on anything breakable) So far so good- it's sturdy even though it's light in weight. I like it better for tea than coffee.
