Palo Alto Home Sales Report For August 2013The Palo Alto home sales report for August 2013 reflects the strong market throughout Silicon Valley and consistently strong demand for Palo Alto housing, both single family homes and condos.  Homes priced below $5M are moving briskly and current value levels are expected to hold or increase through the end of 2013.  Inventory increased from 34 units on August 1st to 43 units on September 1st (homes for sale not yet in escrow).

Of the 50 homes that closed escrow in August, only 8 were on the market longer than 30 days and 30 sold in less than 10 days.  Sales activity increased slightly in August over July, with more homes on the market and more homes going into escrow.
