Solano County Luxury Home Sales Report: April 2013

The Solano County luxury home sales report for April 2013 reflects weak sales data for homes listed or sold above $750,000.  Homes priced at $750,000 – located mostly in Green Valley – make up about 4% of all homes now for sale in Solano County.

Today, 40% of Solano County luxury homes on the market have been listed for less than 60 days – therefore 60% have been on the market 61 days or longer.  About 50% have been on the market over 90 days (the longest over two years).

Demand may continue weak for Solano County luxury homes going into summer, though exceptional properties may enjoy quick sales as the general Bay Area economy maintains positive momentum.  Homes in great locations with attractive features and in good condition may find ready luxury home buyers in the spring and summer.
