Decatur High School to Offer Community Education Classes
In a move that should be an outstanding use of space, Decatur High will begin offering community education classes in November at the new Career Academy, which will be taught by Emory University professors. The opening seminars will consist of photography techniques and an intensive SAT prep course.
The school plans to expand the class offerings and the nights of service to 5 days a week from 4-9 p.m! Duane Sprull, who serves as the Career & Technical Education Director, says that some of the classes will be primarily for fun and enjoyment and some will even lead to certain kinds of certifications!
Decatur High students, faculty, and staff will get a 10% discount on all classes they take!
