"What happened to all those great home buying deals that we saw only a few months ago???"  This is the question of the day coming from today's buyer who is entering the market in the lower price range.  The fact is that the inventory levels (covering the entire metro Atlanta area) are down.  If fact, they are WAY down.  As a general point of reference, in June of 2009, we had around 120,000 units on the market.  Today, we have a little over 43,000 units in that same market.  Of course real estate is local and not every location has seen this "shift" in the market.  Today, instead of seeing the winning offers between 90% and 95%, it is not uncommon to see multiple bids that are 105% to 120% or more of the asking price (for well priced properties).  Your full-time, full-service Top-producing Realtors are in the know and see first hand the "shift" that has taken place.  While we don't have a crystal ball, the future for home sellers is looking up.  If you are in the market, give Joe Powell a call at 770-463-9345.
