With the modern technologies and everything that is now easily accessible to the consumer in the real estate market some may wonder why exactly a Realtor would do for a buyer? Sure there's the contracts and the negations that are inevitable within a transaction of the magnitude of a home but what REALLY  happens when you hire a real estate professional to work for you?
Well the reality is that a buyer of a home doesn't actually pay any commissions to their preferred real estate pro. In fact, all the work that is done including time and efforts aren't paid to the pro till a transaction closes. Then the pro gets paid though the escrow process which is usually paid for by the seller of the home. That being said, why wouldn't you hire a Realtor when looking for a new home? Well many people think they could handle the process themselves... In reality, everyone has a job to do right? Doctors go to work everyday to take care of patients and so forth. Everyone has something to worry about in their daily lives that revolves around their career or jobs. Well so do real estate professionals. Not only do Realtors work day and night to ensure your “buying” or “selling” positions but they also make sure that the transactions is going as smoothly as possible by making sure things happen by specific dates and staying within contractual time frames. Buying or selling a home can be a very long drawn out and flat out exhausting process. Would you want to take on this job while worrying about your normal nine to five? Didn't think so.
Finding the right professional is crucial to getting into the place of your dreams. Not only should they act on your behalf but also fight for the things that you may want or not. Taking on this responsibility can be a full time job in itself but remember that time is of the essence here. A true professional will take on all the duties set forth and handle them in a timely manner. The idea of juggling a transaction with tons of money or assets involved along with a full time job can be nauseating. So contact a professional and let them do what they do. I mean you wouldn’t let a dentist give you medical advise about a bum knee now would you?
