The Folly of the Poseur
Do people choose a Realtor by their narcissist photos?. Apparently many Realtors believe they do. Personally I find these staged, retouched images with artificial smiles quite cheesy, salesy, and disturbing. In fact upon meeting many of the poseur's I realize their advertised photo was taken a decade or more ago. I find it less than honest if an agent appears significantly different in their advertising than they do in real time. As a consumer this would cause me to think - if the agent would so embellish, exaggerate, and gussy up their appearence, might they do the same within a real estate transaction? Contrary to their intended and desired result, strongly made up masks do not inspire my confidence and trust, nor would they cause me to choose such a person as my agent. I suggest they abandon this foley, be honest with themselves, and demonstrate their true ability.
