Comerica Bank is hosting a school supplies drive specifically to support children who are homeless. According to the San Jose Unified School District (SJUSD), approximately 340 students attending schools in the district are considered homeless. These are children who lack a fixed, regular and adequate residence. The school district’s Homeless Assistance Program works with families to ensure their children can continue their education despite not having a home.
Comerica’s six banking centers in San Jose will be collecting backpacks, school supplies and personal hygiene items from now until August 5.
Comerica Banking Centers participating in the drive include:
• Almaden Valley – 1092 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose 95123
