NEW Land Shark Bar & Grill and SKY WHEEL opening in Myrtle Beach, SC

Opening in May of 2011, the Jimmy Buffett Land Shark Bar & Grill will be the newest attraction on the Grand Strand on the oceanfront! Accompanying the Land Shark Bar & Grill will be the Myrtle Beach Sky Wheel. The Jimmy Buffett's chain of restaurants including the MargaritaVille at Myrtle Beach's Broadway at the Beach and Cheeseburger in Paradise, are known for the fun, friendly atmosphere, great entertainment, as well as delicious American cuisine. The Land Shark Bar & Grill will not be any different. The Land Shark will offer cool cocktails, delicious beach food, as well as laid-back atmosphere.

The 6,500 square-foot restaurant will offer beachfront dinning, where you can enjoy the views of the Atlantic Ocean from every direction inside as well as beachfront deck outside seating. There will also be a gift shop which will give Ocean Boulevard a modern, new building as opposed to the aging buildings. The Buffett restaurant will be constructed in a "beachy" appearance to blend well with the new Myrtle Beach boardwalk, which is located immediately in front of the Land Shark restaurant.

Just outside the restaurant will be a gift shop which will sell Buffett Land Shark Lager beer brand items as well as Sky Wheel souvenirs. The theme of the gift shop will tie into the theme of the Land Shark Bar & Grill.

The Sky Wheel, the tallest Ferris wheel in the United States, will offer great views and The Myrtle Beach Sky Wheel will be 200 feet tall with 42 climate controlled gondolas that seat 6. Eat 6 seated gondola will be individually heated and air conditioned.
