Power of Paint

Never underestimate the power of paint when placing your home on the real estate market.  Paint has the power to change a room and the feeling someone gets while in that room for under 50 dollars.  Paint brings in new life and a sense of freshness and rejuvenation.  The power that it holds is one of desirability, paint really dosent increase the value, it increses desirability.  The law of supply and demand works here, the more desireable a home is the more the value will go up, hence the power of paint. 

When choosing a paint color you need to stay neutral and in the earth tone families.  Home buyers are more savvy today than ever, and with the increase of real estate and real estate design shows they come in with very high expectations.  Keep it safe and warm and inviteing and I'm sure your next open house will be a success.  There was a commercial I loved on HGTV that stated "a can of red cost the same as a can of blue so mix it up."  Keep is simple and warm and you'll house will sell quicker and for more money because that's the power of paint.
