Have fun with the family at the Heritage Junctions Pumpkin Festival.

Heritage Junction’s Pumpkin Festival in Newhall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday with a pumpkin carving contest, Halloween Horror Movie Museum, a Halloween makeup station and ghoul-themed shows. Dragging their way from the Newhall jailhouse, professionally painted zombies will shamble down Main Street to haunt festival-goers at Hart Park during the Zombie March at 6 p.m.

Show your support for the American Diabetes Association and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society while getting exercise at the same time.

The Mann Biomedical Park for Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes on a scenic four-mile walk, or a shorter two-mile walk for families, to benefit the American Diabetes Association at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Creating a trail of illuminated balloons like stars at Bridgeport Park, participants in the Light the Night Walk will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a remembrance ceremony and leisurely walk at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Meet TV stars at the Wish Foundation Starry Night help raise money for the William S. Hart School District.

Stars will fill the Hart High School auditorium on Saturday. Celebrities from “Dancing with the Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and “American Idol,” will appear at the Wish Foundation Starry Night event, hosted by “That’s so Raven” star Kyle Massey, to benefit the William S. Hart School District at 7:30 p.m.

Community Expo on Main Street.

Community Expo on Main Street in Newhall on Saturday. From 12-9 p.m., the event offers more than the traditional spread of business mingling, including bands and a sub sandwich eating contest.

Local law enforcement will be at Red Robin serving lunch or dinner raising money to benefit the Antelope Valley chapter of Special Olympics, brings new meaning to ‘protect and serve’.

Law enforcement officers and department personnel will take orders from local residents at Red Robin in Valencia on Saturday for “Tip-A-Cop,” a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Special Olympics fundraiser benefiting the Antelope Valley chapter of Special Olympics Southern California. The “Celebrity Waiters” will collect tips from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and 3:30-8 p.m. for dinner.

Bow-Wows & Meows pet fair helping find homes for pets.

Bow-Wows & Meows adoptive pets at the Sunday pet fair at the William S. Hart Park. More than 160 animals were adopted at last year’s event, and pets from Los Angeles County shelters will be vying for love beginning at 11 a.m.

LARC Ranch’s Country Western Carnival.

LARC Ranch’s Country Western Carnival in Saugus on Sunday, featuring carnival games and live music at 1 p.m. All proceeds benefit the ranch.

The 9th annual Kid Expo.

The 9th annual Kid Expo at Golden Valley High School on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 100 tables will allow kids to explore karate, dance, art, gymnastics, books and tutors, and all proceeds will benefit the Child & Family Center.
