  • Real Estate has made its comeback! - San Diego

    According to the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), the median price for single-family homes in San Diego reach the $450,000 mark for the first time in five years. That number represents an increase of 23 percent increase since last year with an average price of $365,000. Same good news have applied to condos and townhomes when last month average price was $288,500, meaning a 37 percent increase compared to last years' prices. 

    That said, the real estate market will continue to flourish since there is a high demand and low inventory. Properties seem to be flying off the shelves, lasting an average of 60 days from the listing date. Communities such as Chula Vista, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido and Rancho Bernardo properties last even less. Those locations seem to be the most wanted in all San Diego, accounting for nearly 30 percent of all single-family sales.
