    Streets will transform into an urban, super chic version of the beautiful rolling hills of Ireland as we color the streets green with over 80,000 square feet of Astroturf! Revelers will discover the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow at the largest outdoor party on the West Coast! Join 20,000 festival attendees in the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter, as they rock their best “jig” at shamROCK 2014, presented by Jameson and The Field.

    shamROCK 2014 will take place Saturday, March 15th, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until Midnight. All leprechauns in attendance will be engulfed into an Irish haven at this year’s celebration as we re-create a 150-foot Irish Pub in the streets like no one has ever seen before, a lighting extravaganza on the surrounding buildings and much more! ShamROCK is guaranteed to once again “ROCK” the streets with endless live entertainment. The Field Irish Stage will be positively Celtic with countless live bands performing Irish Rock, Irish Punk Rock and other Irish favorites

    $30 for General Admission and $65 for VIP until March 7th

    $40 for General Admission and $75 for VIP from March 8th to March 14th

    "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" is the largest network of breast cancer awareness event held by the American Center Society to raise money for breast cancer research and care. Whether you are a breast cancer survivor or one of your loved ones has been diagnosed with breast cancer, your life has been affected by this common disease. As the son of a cancer survivor, I encourage everyone to join not only help raise awareness and support breast cancer fundraising but to honor breast cancer survivors and remember those that have been lost.

    Join the cause and help fight this horrible disease that has affected so many lives. There are more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today. We believe there could be more or even not have that disease as a whole! We are hopeful for a cure with the help of research and people like you to help raise fund to make it happen, so sign up today and walk with us this Sunday, October 20th, at 7 am in Balboa park!

As of this weekend, SeaWorld will be starting their well known summer nights where the park transforms after dark with extended hours and seasonal nighttime only shows.

Once the sun starts to set and the temperatures are a little more reasonable, the rock and roll music is pumped through the park's speakers feeling the amazing energy of the park as a whole.   • San Diego Sicilian Festival- Little Italy

    This Sunday May 19, 2013, San Diego's Sicilian American community will be celebrating its 20th annual Sicilian Festival in Little Italy. Every year this festivity is brought to the public free of charge in order to commemorate the Sicilian history and heritage in San Diego. Music, entertainment and authentic Sicilian food surround colorful decorations around the streets of Little Italy.

    The event starts takes place from 10 am to 6 pm so bring your family and friends! This is a great opportunity to get a taste of the Little Italy community and its restaurants. There will be grape stomping, as well as wine tasting, a Kids Zone, cultural displays, the famous Bellissimo Car show and nonstop entertainment for the whole day.

    This Sunday is the 17th Annual Rolando Street Fair. This popular family festival is fun for all ages with a large variety of things to do. There will be an array of musical entertainment, a food court, and even local vendor booths. There is also a reserved section of the fair for children and you. This section will include activities, bouncers, carnival rides, and its own local vendor booths.


    The Rolando Street Fair will be held on Sunday, March 24 2013, located on Rolando Blvd. (between El Cajon Blvd. & Solita St.) The festival starts at 10:00 am and runs until 6:00 pm. Come join the fun at the 17th Annual Rolando Street Fair!
