Highest Sales Price: Â $1,250,000. Â This home was on Little Turtle Trail in the luxurious Covington Lake Estates. Â It features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 4,525 square feet with a partially finished basement. Â It has too many cool features to list, but in my opinion, this was the coolest:
So what does this report show us about the real estate market in Fort Wayne in 2012? Â It was good. Â Homes selling for 96% of list price (on average) is not surprising. Â This 96% also includes foreclosures and short sales. Â Not too bad at all. Â 76 days on market is also very good overall. Â Homes sold at 3,889 is up from 3,545 in 2011. Â That's almost 1 more home sold per day than the previous year. Â That tells me that people are out there buying homes. Â Overall, the 2012 Fort Wayne real estate market was strong.
