I completed my salesperson's course in December of last year.Â I enjoyed it very much and particularly enjoyed the real life stories our instructor shared with us daily.Â He told us some great stories about eminent domain, about experiences he had with other Realtors trying to steal his clients, and of course there was the success story about a lifelong housewife that had an itch to sell real estate.Â She ended up becoming the top seller in her county and has made a great living!!
The one story that interested me the most was about the Realtor that averaged 2 showings per sale.Â I thought it sounded incredible when he told me but now that I am out in the field I KNOW that's incredible!Â I am going to say that this Realtor not only knew how to listen to his clients but he knew his market inside and out.
Our instructor encouraged us to really LISTEN to what our buyers are looking for, read between the lines, understand what is MOST important to them.Â I have always been a good listener and have been able to understand what people are reeally saying, but 2 showings per sale?Â Wow!Â
