For the past 2 years we have gone to Eucalyptus Ave in San Carlos, CA. It is truly amazing what the residents in a few blocks have done. The street (starting at Orange) is blocked off except to one way traffic (enter on Orange and Eucalyptus). Every house on the block if fully decked out with lights, inflatable santas, elmos, etc. and they even truck in real snow so that kids can sled down the street. Most of the residents are sitting out on the driveways with large fire pits, enjoying some beverages and chatting with passerbys.
I highly recommend stopping by and if you do, it's worth getting out of the car (park on Brittan) and walking it. Here are some pictures from last weekend:
