Chevron on Tremont, a building being constructed at 518 Tremont Street, is SOLD out.
According to Pamela Holian, the real estate agent representing the new development, all five condominium units have found buyers and are under agreement.Â
The sell-out is both a sign of the red-hot real estate market and the fact that according to the veteran South End agent: “There isn’t anything in the South End like it.†The Parisian-style flats at Chevron on Tremont will feature 2,500 square feet of single-floor living, direct elevator access and balconies. They will have three bedrooms, a den, and multiple bathrooms. Buyers will also receive one garage parking space. The condominiums had been marketed for $3.1 million-$3.15 million, about $1,250 a square foot. Those who want to know more about the project can go to www.ChevrononTremont.com.
The developer of Chevron on Tremont, PEG Properties and Design, specializes in historic renovation and the restoration of row houses and has completed dozens of projects in the area.
Demolition of the previous building began last fall. The location is known by many residents as the former site of Olde Dutch Cottage Candy & Antiques. Chevron on Tremont, currently a steel frame, is scheduled to be ready for occupancy at the end of September 2013.
