I just recently purchased a home in Peoria, IL. I went to every real estate website I could find. By far and away Trulia.com was the most informative and helpful. A lot of the other sites tried to hide info so you had to contact an agent to get the answers to the questions you would logically have. Trulia was much more user friendly.
