Naperville and Du Page County Home Sales Are Up

Wheaton's real estate market had a small bump in September as the bulk of the Chicago area saw a bump in year-over-year comparisons. Wheaton saw a 9.3 percent bump in the number of homes sold in September 2012 over September 2011.

September year over year results, with 47 homes sold, Wheaton was second to Naperville's 123 in DuPage County. Further, Elmhurst, Lisle, Naperville and Woodridge all saw the number of homes sold increase by double-digit percentages, according to MORe. Lisle had the greatest leap in home sales, with a 57.1 percent increase in Sept. 2012 over Sept. 2011.

Sales are up, average days on the market continue to drop and home prices have are stabilized in many areas...positive trends that everyone has been hopeful for.
