As most of you may know by now, President Obama signed the extension of the Homebuyer tax credit which is fantastic for all new buyers. I've just announced an incentive program to all new clients totaling as much as $1,000.00 per buyer for any property up to $800,000 that closes by June 30, 2010.Â
The bonus is an effort to increase awareness about the variety of government programs currently available to home buyers. Available to any new client, here's how my stimulus program works:
ï‚· Â $500 for the buyer of any property under $250,000.
ï‚· Â $750 for the buyer of any property from $251,000 to $350,000.
ï‚· Â $1,000 for the buyer of any property from $351,000 to $800,000.
The Homebuyer Tax Credit, which allows first-time buyers to claim up to $8,000, was recently extended for buyers who sign a binding contract by April 30, 2010 and close on the purchase by June 30, 2010. The program was expanded to include a $6,500 credit for current homeowners, who qualify, and purchase a new primary residence. Additionally, a relatively unknown program from the Illinois Housing Development Authority allows some first-time home buyers to use up to $6,000 of the $8,000 homebuyer tax credit as a down payment.Â

To further incentivize new buyers, I've partnered with local mortgage providers, home inspectors, home-warranty insurance providers, and real estate attorneys to offer special discounts that are only available to buyers that use my services.
