Thinking of Selling ? ? ?
The season of selling is fast approaching and many of you are considering making the transition to a bigger home because your family has grown, or perhaps you will be downsizing now that all the kids have flown the coop.
This is a good time to start making plans and one should consider very carefully on the choice of who you use to list your home. You will need someone with the right experience and the right resources to give you the best advantage to acheive your goal.
One thing you definitely want to avoid is the "Expired" list. You ask ... what's that?
The Expired status is when a home is listed for sale and the listing agreement between the seller and agent reaches it's expiration date and fails to sell. At this point your frustration will have obviously surmounted.
People and agents alike do not plan to fail, but a great many do fail to plan. One has to have the right marketing strategy and back-up plan in place in order to succeed. It definitely is to your advantage to have an agent with a marketing background.
I have 15 prior years experience in marketing, graphic design and photography. On top of that I have over 6 years of Real Estate experience with both Buyers and Sellers.
I am afraid I am not the type to tell you what you want to hear but what you NEED to hear. I tell sellers you need to consider your home a product now and disconnect the emotional connections if you truly want to get on with the next step in your life. I don't want to waste your time, I want to help you SELL your home.
I do that by givig strong suggestions and clear instructions on how to stage your home to give it the best look possible in order to appeal to the most buyers. The more buyers you have looking at your home the more your odds increase of selling it in the time you need and the price you seek.
Should you need a free Comparative Market Analysis (CMA as it is commonly known), I will gladly do that for you complimentary and consult with you at the earliest convenience to you.
