Greg, welcome aboard. You will find Palm Harbor, Dunedin and all of our waterfront communities a truly exceptional place to live. In a few years you will come to celebrate the lack of snow and freezing temperatures.
Make sure you get a free copy of '100 Days of Summer 2011." It's an exceptional door opener. And by all means get signed up for the Midnight Run.

Answer questions. On Trulia, set yourself up to receive alerts for, at a minimum, for any question posted in Pinellas County and FL. Make sure T has some role in your marketing structure other than a place to spend time. You need to be proactive and determine if citizens around you are using T in their real estate research activity. Should the response be anemic you may come to realize there are better venues to tap.
Finally, search the real estate agent roles on T for agents near you. Give them a call and ask, "How's that T thing working for yah?" You will be surprised how open the real estate community is in our area ESPECIALLY for those programs that don't work! There certainly is territorial thinking regarding the programs that do work.

Best of success,

Hi, Greg. Welcome to the world of real estate! You should definitely take advantage of all the real estate websites that offer free profiles, as Trulia does. Get as much free online exposure as you can since the Internet is where the buyers are looking. Go online and Google the name of some of the top agents in your market area and see where they show up. That's a great way to know what the competition is doing. Good luck!

Greg:

For getting the most out of Trulia I would recommend reading some of the posts that agents write and start writing some yourself. The more exposure you have the more searchable you will be. You can write about your experiences doing floor time, open houses, and all the new stuff you are learning. Best
