A flurry was forecasted for today. Well, 4 to 6 inches later, they realized that we did have more snow than they thought we would. It was a light snow, that you could sweep away with a broom. Much better than the heavy white wet snow. Though, for the children, the heavy white wet snow is much better. Sliding and building things, snowmen, huts, animals, slides, etc. Yes, in Connecticut, probably in all of New England, we learn to play and love the snow. It becomes a yearly ritual. This year has been an awesome winter. The kind that we used to have when I was a child. Sled are being used, almost every day. When it's really too cold to be outdoors, you really want to go sledding or take a walk under the night starry sky. Last week we were at or near 0, so no, to the playing and walking in snow when it is that cold.
Here's a fun photo! It's from my Daughter's deck! No grilling outside today!
