    Closed home sales in Pleasanton fell to 40 in August, from 43 in July.  The median sales price decreased in August to $752,500 from $899,899 in July.

     

    The homes sold for 97% of the asking price in August, down from 98% in July.  They were on the market for an average of 41 days, up from 30 in July.

    Closed single family home sales in Danville increased in August to 41 from 38 in July.  The median sales price decreased in August to $805,000 from $882,500 in July.

     

    The homes sold, on average, for 97% of the asking price in August, unchanged from July.  They were on the market for an average of 45 days, compared to 46 days in July.

    The homes sold for 99% of the average asking price in August, unchanged from July.  They were on the market for an average of 30 days, down from 33 in July.
