What Do The Holidays Do for Buying and Selling Real Estate?

The great news is that for both buyers and sellers, it's a win-win time to be active in the market during the months of November to January - especially in the US. Buyers have less competition from other buyers, and can typically strike a better deal with a seller; and Sellers have the benefit of attracting more serious buyers who are typically and deliberately looking for their own personal residence versus being involved with many other possible holiday events.

Sellers - be sure to take advantage of the holidays to dress up your house with extra outdoor lighting in the shrubs for warm and inviting curb appeal. Also, fireplaces & dining room tables make nice focal points for a color boost. Please skip the seasonal towels and linens in the baths and bedrooms, neutral is better. And for music, try classical, soft piano instrumentals.

Buyers - the interest rates are strongly in your favor right now - it's your golden moment when combined with already fallen prices - take action!
