    If I were in the market for a home, and had the opportunity to see it through a realtor who is presently renting the house, I would jump on it. Why not? they would hold the answers to many questions - perhaps not all, but more than the average listing.



    That's my situation...we have been renting 156 Chestnut Hill - Wilton for the last year and a half, and we are moving back to Greenwich....no kids, easier commute. 

    If I we were looking to buy a 5 bedroom, 4 bath home with 4 fireplaces in South Wilton on 2 acres for under assessed value,  156 Chestnut Hill Rd would pose a great situation.  It is bank owned, and they are extremely motivated, since they have had it on their books for a couple of years.

    The assessment is $1,075,480 and it is priced at $999,000. The septic system is brand new - 1 month old.
