For a long time people have thought that Boulder was insulated from price drops because it is such a special place to live and always seems to be in demand. That held true all the way through August of 2009. That was the peak for the average home value in Boulder at $429. Since then as you can see from the graph from Zillow.com, home prices have been falling in Boulder and still are dropping to an average of $410.
