Duke Power and Progress Energy Merger – Is your job moving to Charlotte, NC?

Duke Power and Progress Energy Merger – Is your job moving to Charlotte, NC?  There is a lot to consider when moving to a new city.  Here are some items to thing about:

#1  Which part of the Queen City do you want to live in?  Uptown, SouthPark, South Charlotte, University, Ballantyne, etc.

#2  What about living right over the North Carolina boarder in South Carolina in areas such as Fort Mill or Tega Cay?

#3  Comparing the school systems, Mecklenburg County Schools vs. Fort Mill Schools?

#4  Your commute, Charlotte, like Raleigh has lots of traffic and you don’t want to get caught in traffic jams every day.

So as you are thinking of all these questions, who do you ask?  A professional Realtor can point you in the right direction.  Also, don’t forget you may have a house to sell in the Triangle area.  If that is the case, would it make sense to have the same agent it both cities?  Here is a few reasons why it would:

#1  You only have one agent to talk too.

#2  The Agent has all the facts on both deals so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to share certain facts with the second Realtor.

#3  They know both cities.

So how do you possibly find someone like that?  Call Krista Cutler, 919-492-5632.  My husband has worked for both Progress Energy and Duke Power so we have lived in both cities and I still sell in both cities!  I was the top sales agent in my Charlotte office for years and top listing agent.  Let me be your one stop shop to make your move just a little less stressful!
