So if you bought a home for $200,000, your mortgage payment would be
APPROX $1193/month (assuming your taxes per/yr=$1700 and mortgage
Now...WHEN interest rates rise just 1% (Not IF but WHEN) That same $1193 Mortgage Payment will now only buy you a $180,000 Home.
That's a HUGE difference in price and what we will be able to afford.
