So, you interviewed agents to sell what did you tell the ones you did not hire?
You have your questions, you set up your appointments and you have now picked the agent that you are going to allow to sell your home.
Have you thought about what all you have told all the others that you did not hire?Â One thing I know about real estate is that it is a small world.Â If you did not hire those other agents you are a customer not a client, so now they know information about what, when and how you why you are selling your home.Â
So, lets say you spoke to 5 agents and you told them all the information you thought they should know.Â Could this hurt you, well maybe?
So, lets say you are going through a divorce, a death debit issues etc.Â This might not have been in your best interest.Â
Same thing about for sale by owners things you don't think you say that could hurt or even harm you or your property.Â
One of the things I would highly recommend to you that are interviewing many different agents is to be very careful about what you tell each of the agents certain things should only be shared with the agent that you have chosen to be their client not just a customer.
I strongely believe you should interview agents, this is a huge deal and your money is going to pay for thier sevices so make sure you get into business with someone you feel is the best person for the job.
This is all about agency and you as the consumer or an agent should completely understand what that means to you.
