Who says you have to wait until after Thanksgiving to get into the Christmas spirit.Â Reno residents want to get started now!Â Before the official Reno holiday tree is lit up, enjoy hot cocoa or apple cider andÂ listen to live musical entertainment.Â Once the tree lightingÂ ceremony is over,Â take a spin around the Rink on the River on its opening night of the season.Â If you bring a donation of new gloves, socks, hats and/or scarves, you can will receive a free skate rental on opening night.Â All donations will be given to the local Reno Salvation Army.
