Despite his recent Daytime Emmy win for best host, along with his Live! with Regis and Kelly co-host, Kelly Ripa, Regis Philbin, the man who holds the Guinness World Record for the most time spent in front of a television camera, is set to leave the show in November.Â
Philbin is also making another play to leave his Greenwich, CT French Colonial estate. The Wall Street Journal reports that the T.V. veteran originally put the property on the market in 2008 for $5.9 million. The soft market prompted him to rent the property, but he has seemingly decided that it’s time to let it go for good, and at a much lower price of $3.8 million.Â
The charming residence is almost 6,000 square-feet and includes 4 bedrooms, 5 full baths, 3 partial baths, two family rooms, and a library with a wet bar. The 6 acres of meticulously manicured grounds that surround the home include a pool, tennis court, and a delightful gazebo – the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing glass of iced tea after a rousing tennis match.
