Vin Diesel Asking $1.3 Million For Hollywood Hills Starter Home

When it comes to real estate, Vin Diesel doesn’t move ‘Fast.’ The “Fast & Furious” star has held onto his first Hollywood Hills home for more than a decade, choosing to stay put in his modest bachelor pad instead of trading up to a mega mansion.

Diesel first made a name for himself after appearing in hit flicks like  “Saving Private Ryan” and “Boiler Room,” and he took his movie star paychecks and plunked down $562,500 in February 2000 for a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1,517 square foot home on a quiet street in the Hollywood Hills.

13 years later, Diesel wants $1,300,000 for the walled and gated hideout that the listing calls “a perfect hideout for a celebrity or those who seek privacy and serenity.” In true Los Angeles style, the home has outdoor spaces that create the perfect balance of indoor/outdoor living. An open floor plan is punctuated by a living room with fireplace and high-beamed ceiling with skylights. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom featuring sunken tub and steam shower. Outside, a large backyard has a pool and spa.

Property records show Diesel was previously asking $5,800 a month to rent the place out before making the decision to sell it off.

Kittean Clark of Rodeo Realty is representing Diesel in the sale.
