Orlando Bloom has just found a renter willing to pay $16,500 a month for the home famously burglarized by “The Bling Ring.” A gang of teenage thiefs broke into this home owned by Bloom, as well as the homes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson and “The Hills” star Audrina Patridge, stealing millions of dollars worth of jewelry, clothing and art in 2008 and 2009.
While “Bling Ring” kids have since been caught, prosecuted and made infamous in Sofia Copolla’s film of the same name, Bloom has decided to let someone else live in the 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 3,248 square foot home, all while collecting $16,500 a month.
Situated high up off the street, Bloom’s very private, gated compound totals 3/4 acres and features security cameras (naturally), lush gardens, a pool, swim machine and spa. The ‘artistic’ single-story home features a chef’s kitchen with walnut/cherry handmade custom cabinetry and a warming fireplace. Off the kitchen is an outdoor patio with built-in barbecue and dining area. To the other side of the kitchen is a large den/office/bedroom with full bathroom and separate entrance. The master suite looks out onto the pool area and has a huge walk in closet and large bathroom with separate tub and steam shower.
Bloom purchased the home on March 28, 2007 for $2,750,000.
