98 Degrees crooner Nick Lachey and his wife, former Wipeout host Vanessa Minnillo Lachey, have new digs! The couple’s new piece of Encino, CA, real estate is the nearly 10,000-square-foot home that formerly belonged to beloved Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera, who died in a plane crash in 2012.
Nick and Vanessa spent $4.15 million on the seven-bed, 10-bath estate. Built in 1999, the French Normandy–style home is perched in the Encino Hills and sits on almost 4 acres of property in an exclusive gated community of just three homes. Inside, a great room with 18-foot ceilings and oversized windows allows sunlight to stream in. The gourmet chef’s kitchen includes a butler’s pantry, Viking appliances, and a large center island that complements the formal dining and living rooms.
A dedicated home office, dual master suites, and a bar are also included, in case Nick feels like inviting the rest of 98 Degrees over for a cocktail. (They are heading back out on tour next month, after all!) Outside, a swimming pool with its own waterfall is complemented by a hiking trail and spectacular views of the valley.
Back in April, Nick and Vanessa listed their former home, located in the same Encino neighborhood, for $3.995 million.
