Lauren Conrad of “The Hills” fame has bought and sold in Los Angeles. She previously listed her (in)famous Hollywood Hills home featured on the non-defunct MTV reality show of the same name for $2,250,000. Lauren purchased the home for a very star-like sum of $2,360,000 in early 2008. When it went up for sale, she was already looking at a $100k+ loss. After a price chop that brought the home down to a $2,100,000 list price, it is finally under contract for a still TBD sum.
Now that THAT particular Hills home is about to become as passé as her friendship with Heidi Montag, Lauren has bought a new bachelorette pad. On March 29, 2012, Conrad plunked down $1,350,000 for a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 3,233 square foot condo in another set of Los Angeles “Hills” – Beverly Hills to be exact.
Conrad’s new home in the 90210 has a dramatic two-story living room, with the master and second bedroom on the main level. A “reverse floor plan,” upstairs has a large family room, an additional bedroom and deck that is yard-size. Her new home is described as a “one-of-a-kind penthouse” in a building with 24 hour security, a gorgeous shared pool, deck, entertainment room and gym.
If Conrad’s stylish former home is any indicator, she likely has a decorator working around-the-clock to glam out her new pad!
