Eriq La Salle Sells Hilltop Mansion For $6 Million – A $4.3 Million PROFIT

Eriq La Salle — best known to most of the world as Dr. Peter Benton on the hit TV Show “ER,” just banked some cash money on the sale of his longtime estate in Los Angeles. La Salle bought the Beverly Hills home at 1460 Laurel Way back in 1988, the same year he appeared in the Eddie Murphy movie “Coming to America,” for a mere $1.7 million, and he just closed on a deal to sell it to an unnamed buyer for $6 million.

He had originally asked an ambitious $7,950,000 when listed the home in January 2013. He eventually had to drop the price to $6,495,000 before he eventually snagged a buyer for $6 million even.

According to TMZ and sources close to the deal, Eriq is selling because he wants to downsize and doesn’t need a giant crib anymore.

The Tuscan-style home was entirely overhauled by La Salle in 2006 and has 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, 6,000 square feet, incredible 180-degree views, a pool, spa, and full guest house.

Inside, open living spaces feature a copper fireplace, formal dining room, gourmet chef’s eat-in kitchen, temperature controlled wine cellar, weight room, impressive wood paneled office, and floor-to-ceiling retractable walls of glass that create a seamless indoor/outdoor entertainer’s paradise. A Moroccan-inspired master suite takes up the entire top floor and includes a spa-like bathroom and adjacent lounging area. A 400-square-foot, private rooftop deck–with outdoor shower and hot tub–completes this remarkable property.
