Tinseltown legend Beau Bridges is giving it another go in Hidden Hills, CA. The actor just relisted his 7,000 square-foot estate for  $2,650,000. Bridges and his wife Wendy purchased the home on May 27, 1988 for $1,200,000. In the spring of 2010, the duo attempted to sell the home for $3.25 million. With no biters, they took the home off the market and then relisted in September 2011 with a reduced price of $2,850,000. No buyers came a-knocking with their checkbooks in tow, back off the market the home went. Today, it’s making it triumphant return with a $200,000 price cut. Let’s hope the third time’s the charm.

Bridges, (who, by the way, is the son of Emmy-nominated Lloyd and the older brother of Oscar-winner Jeff) is looking at December 2012 as the month his long-awaited real estate dreams come true, and he finally sells his Hidden Hills estate. The tough-to-sell home is actually quite easy on the eyes. A custom residence, Bridge’s estate is nestled on a 1.15 flat acre lot, with lushly landscaped grounds. Designed by Marshall Lewis, the home boasts six-bedrooms, six- bathrooms, plus an office. Warm woods, picture windows, and spacious interior flow allow for both grand entertaining and casual get-togethers. A remodeled chef’s kitchen features granite counters, Viking stainless appliances, a SubZero refrigerator/freezer, and a sunny breakfast nook with garden views. The spacious main living area consists of a billiard room, formal living room, family room with wet bar, and a sunken area, all designed around the floor-to-ceiling, brick-and-mortar fireplace. Wood floors, vaulted beamed ceilings, and french windows and doors are found throughout. Dual stairways lead to the second level, offering three en-suite bedrooms, a romantic master suite with warming fireplace, a private dressing room, multiple closets and bath, plus a private office with fireplace and wine closet. An entertainer’s patio with BBQ, sparkling brick lined pool and spa, north/south tennis court, green house, fruit trees, sprawling green lawns, and a serenity garden complete the celeb-worthy grounds.
