Beach Boy Mike Love Relists Swank Pebble Beach Pad

Want to live like a real ‘California Girl’ (or boy)?

Now’s your chance!

Mike Love, an original member of the iconic music group ‘The Beach Boys,’ has just relisted his spectacular Tuscan-style estate in Pebble Beach, CA for $5,790,000.

While the home is stunning, with hard-to-part-with ocean views, Love has had a hard time finding a buyer. According to the Wall Street Journal, Love originally listed the ‘Surfer’ spread in 2009 for $7.9M. It came off the market and then remerged in June 2012, when it was seeking a buyer at a lower list price of $5.995M.

Built in 2003, the 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom home sits on a coveted acre of land in scenic Pebble Beach, the seaside community famous for its incredible golf course and to-die-for coastline. Expansive and sprawling over four levels, the home has an elevator, wine cellar and tasting room, a game room, a gym and a screening room. Additionally, the home has a guest apartment with a separate kitchen.

In 2012, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Loves are selling the home because their children are no longer in school in Pebble Beach. “It is a lifestyle change,”  Jacqueline Love, Mike’s wife, said at the time. The couple has an obvious affinity for vacation towns, as their primary residence is in Incline Village, near world famous Lake Tahoe.

Steve & Noel Beutel of Sotheby’s International Realty-Rancho continue to hold the listing.
