Event: Summer Concert Series - Opie Gone Bad
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: Highland Heritage Regional Park
Super charged and energized, Opie Gone Bad will have you movin' guaranteed! With their own unique style of "funk-rock," Opie Gone Bad is musical proof that shortness of breath, light-headedness and funky uncontrollable movement is a good thing.
Opie Gone Bad's style between rock, reggae, and rap, but the heart of the band's sound is pure funk. Jake Schroeder's diversified stylistic vocals complement whichever musical genre the band chooses to employ.
Admission is Free! Bring a picnic dinner and join us as we kick off another great Summer Concert Series. Sorry, no dogs or glass containers are allowed at Highland Heritage Park.

Location: Law Enforcement Training Facility (meeting place)

You don't have to drive all the way to the mountains to enjoy a nice campfire while roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores. This makes a great "Family Night"! Picnics allowed.

Event: Mountain Bike Bluff's Circuit Race
Time: 8:00 am
Location: Rock Canyon Parking Lot
All riders do four loops. Race time 45 minutes to one hour and 15 minutes. Please park at Rock Canyon High School and bike to the start on the Bluffs Regional trail. Please follow cones to get to the start.
To get to the start/finish line you can either ride the Douglas County trail heading east and then north or take Monarch Blvd and McArthur Ranch Road to the trail head. Please arrive with plenty of time to find your way to the start line.
Event: Historic Homestead Hayride
Time: 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Location: Law Enforcement Training Facility
Price: $15 / $17
Take a step back into the past as we take you on a historic, horse drawn hayride into the Backcountry Wilderness ARea. Listen to interesting stories told by local historians about one of the original homesteads of Highlands Ranch.
