MANATEE PARK – FORT MYERS

MANATEE PARK – FORT MYERS

10901 State Road 80 (Palm Beach Blvd.) Fort Myers, FL 33905

The warm water of The Gulf of Mexico is full of Manatees. The current cold weather drives them to the warmest water the area has. That’s why The Lee County Power Plant on The Orange River has become a manatee refuge center. Mornings are the best to spot 20 to 30 Manatees. For those who want to get up close, kayak/canoe rentals are available 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily

The park offer a free “All About Manatees” program 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM daily. The park is open from 8:00 AM to sunset daily. Seasonal prgrams run November through March.
