Soho Mews Penthouse Apartment
Reports The Times:
Apartments at SoHo Mews first came on the market in 2007 when the building was under construction, then hit a bumpy patch during the recession. Several buyers filed complaints to try to get out of their deals, but the attorney general’s office sided with the developer in several cases, and other buyers decided to settle.
If Mr. Bartel’s apartment is any indication, the financial crisis has also helped bring on some heavy discounting at the building. His two-bedroom two-and-a-half-bath penthouse had an original asking price of $5.965 million, but he paid nearly 20 percent less.
The apartment has a fireplace, three exposures and a 1,027-square-foot terrace with an outdoor spa tub.
