Market and price get it sold...

Make sure you select a full time real estate agent that knows the market. Many homes sit on the market for months with no activity. I listed 211 Oakwood Street, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 on May 26th 2012 and have had multiple showings as of today, June 8th 2012. We priced the home based on sales and NOT active listings. Also, I had my company tour the home last Friday. On Tuesday I set-up a multi-broker agent tour of my home and four other homes. I had 21 real estate agents view the home that day and give us feedback. About 25 agents in total saw the home. 91% of the agents felt the price was correct and competitive. Soon my post cards will go out and an e-mail blast. Pricing and promoting are the keys to selling a home in today’s market. Make sure you sit down and figure out a pro-active marketing plan. Listing your home in the news paper during the summer helps, but you really need a strong online and direct contact marketing plan.

With rates as low as they are for Conventional and Jumbo we are seeing a increase in closings too with financing.

Steve is correct. Rates are historically low.
