The city of Scottsdale sends an e-mail update to interested parties about the city. The website address is: www.scottsdaleaz.gov

Part of the latest newsletter informed us  the Tom's Thumb & East End trails in Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve are under construction now.

The work is done by hand, but some of the large boulders may require relocation in order to widen the areas.

If you have any questions regarding the work, you can contact Scottsdale Project Manager Robin Rodgers at (480) 312-2522.

For information on the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, visit www.scottsdaleaz.gov/preserve.

The Arizona population growth is the same as last year:

Reporter Adam Kress in the Phoenix Business Journal informs us Arizona being in the position of  the second-fastest growing state in the country this year.

"From July 1, 2007, to July 1, 2008, Arizona’s population grew by 2.3 percent, or about 147,000 people, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The year before, Arizona also was the second-fastest growing state, but at a higher rate, 2.8 percent."

From the City of Phoenix website we learned of a nice discount:
If you have a Phoenix Public Library card, you will get a 2-dollar discount off the general admission to the Arizona Science Center during this holiday season.

Arizona Science Center  www.azscience.org  located at 600 Eas Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85004. Telephone:  (602) 716-2000

So if you lack of things to do, you can stop by Phoenix Public Library - www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org first. There are 14 branches in the city.

This is the advantage of living in a big metropolitan area, we have things to do !

If you are looking for real estate, we are here to help you, and we service the whole valley.
