    Ashland Mass Real Estate report

    In May of 2009 there were 12 homes that closed within the month for Ashland MA. This is an increase of 1 units as there were 11 homes that closed in May of 2008.

    The Average list price for the homes that closed in Ashland for May of 2008 was $424,205

    The Average list price for the homes that closed in Ashland for May of 2009 was $349,342

    The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Ashland for May of 2008 was $414,909

    The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Ashland for May of 2009 was $347,317

    The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Ashland in May of 2008 was 106 days.

    The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Ashland May of 2009 was 48 days.


    10 homes went under agreement in Ashland Massachusetts in the month of May. The average list price of the homes that went under agreement was $420,010. The average time on the market for these Ashland homes were 126 days.

    Through May in Ashland there have been 37 homes sold. There were also 37 homes sold last year at this same time as well.

    In Ashland MA for the period of January to December of 2007 there were 131 properties sold.

    In comparing year over year longer term data for Ashland MA, it appears that there is still a downward trend in the average sale price for homes. The average days on the market for the homes that have closed year to date have gone down in Ashland which is not typical of most Metrowest towns. Ashland sales volume is not down that much either.

    These statistics are contrary to many of the towns in Metrowest MA. Ashland has not taken as drastic a hit as some of the surrounding towns.
