The Fall Folklife Festival takes place in Buckhead at the Atlanta History Center.Â The kick-off portion of the event is on Friday, September 21, 2012
from 7 to 10 pm.Â The main event takes place on Saturday,
September 22 and the hours of the festival are from 10:30 am to 4:30
The Friday night kick-off allows guests to learn about Georgia wines and history about the Atlanta dining scene.Â Attendees will also be able to sample food and drinks from top Atlanta restaurants.
The main event on Saturday features a folk art exhibit, videos and demonstrations about local food and farming, and there will be live bluegrass and folk music.Â The History Center's Smith Family Farm will have it's regular traditional craft activities, as well.Â Continue reading for more information about the Fall Folklife Festival.
