Seal Beach Homes for Sale- A Small Town with California Feel

Seal Beach is strategically located in the westernmost corner of Orange County. To the northwest of it lies the city of Long Beach and adjacent to it is San Pedro Bay. Huntington Harbour is to its southeast. To the east lie the city of Westminster while to the north lie the unincorporated community of Rossmoor and the city of Los Alamitos.

Dominated with over two-thirds of its landmass by the Naval Weapons Station, consists of spectacular neighborhoods that offer a plentiful array of Seal Beach Homes for Sale. The Old Town, Surfside and the Hill regions are close to the beach and have many of our shops and residences, which make Seal Beach feel like “Mayberry by the Sea.” College Park West is an area to behold because of its large parks and facilities close to California State University and the Veterans Hospital. College Park East is also is a home to some of the city's largest shopping areas namely the Shops at Rossmoor and the Target Center. Finally, Leisure World is located here. It is the first planned retirement community, over one-third of the residents are retirees in this region.

The city's annual cultural events host activities which provide great entertainment to its residents as well as tourists. Two of the famed events are Lions Club Pancake Breakfast in April and its Fish Fry (started in 1943) in July. Other points of interest worthy of visit when you are here are the Red Car Museum which features a restored Pacific Electric Railway Red Car, Bay Theatre which is a popular venue for independent film and revival screenings, and its National Wildlife Refuge which is a saltwater marsh known as a great place for bird watching.

The town became a popular recreation destination from the time it was incorporated on October 1915. It featured a beach-side amusement park long before Disneyland was founded inland. It boasts many parks and facilities with amenities to suit everyone’s needs! You can watch a beautiful sunset at EisenhowerPark, take a nature walk with friends through through GumGroveNaturePark, you can let your dog run free at ArborPark, or challenge your sense of adventure through various surfing sites like the Seal Beach pier and Stringray Bay.  Kids can play at one of its 6 tot-lots or you may take classes at one of the community centers.

We cordially invite you to explore all that this friendly community has to offer from annual events to simply enjoying the pristine beaches and amenities. It has something for residents and visitors alike – all year long.
