9 Months After Buying, Andie MacDowell Sells Marina Del Rey Home At A Loss

Well, that was fast.

Andie MacDowell has just sold the Marina Del Rey home she owned for a mere 9 months. Purchased by the ageless actress in February 2013 for $1,775,000, property records show MacDowell just sold the place on November 8, 2013 for $1,750,000 – a $25,000 loss.

Marketed with the very same listing photos as when she bought it, it’s unclear if the L’Oreal spokeswoman ever even moved into the 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2,998 square foot Cape Cod-style home on a corner lot in Marina Del Rey’s Silver Strand area.

Described as “modern and spacious with a loft-like interior,” the stark white home has soaring ceilings, skylights and large glass sliding doors, which illuminate the house with natural light and let the ocean breezes flow in. One of four bedrooms is tucked away, making it perfect for guest quarters. The other three  bedrooms are upstairs and include an oversized master with spiral staircase leading to an impressive double loft area and  master bath. Outside is a relaxing space with sparkling pool to lounge in on warm California days.

MacDowell bought this home in early 2013 after selling her longtime home in Asheville, North Carolina for a cool $3 million.
